Fly Tying Session with Chris Edmunds at Bens Lake

Chris is going to host a flying demonstation and group tying session. Should anyone have any extra vices kicking around bring them down. We will have enough supplies for everyone to follow along with one of Chris expert fly pattern. After they are all tyed up we will be hitting the lake to test them out.

This Expert is from Chris Edmunds website:

I am a second generation salmon fly tier, where I have been tying since I was about 6 or 7 when my father taught me the basics.  As a fly tier I produce the best quality flies for myself and my clients.

My first fly fishing experience was when I was about 8 when my father took my brother and I out trout fishing on a local brook where we did very well. From there he took me on Berry Brook stretch Crown Reserve waters on the Upsalquitch river in northern New Brunswick at the age of 12. This trip didn’t produce any fish but was a great learning experience. Then in 1996 I became addicted. I hooked and landed my first Grilse on one of my own patterns.
